Social Media Manager - Leeds
Responsible for identifying social media opportunities with prospects, existing clients and developing strategies to exploit, the fuse8 social media manager will have full responsibility for defining and aligning the company’s social media offering in the marketplace. Additionally, you will be ultimately responsible for the day-to-day activities for all social media campaigns to ensure their effectiveness.
Although the role reports directly into the Operations Director at fuse8, the role is integral to a number of disciplines within the company and will require you to build and maintain close relationships with teams and individuals in creative, search, client services, production and delivery.
Relationships:
- Responsible to: Operations Director
- Liaison with: Directors, Client Services Team, Project Director, Creative Director, UX Director, Head of Search, Content Manager, Prospects, Clients, Finance

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a compelling social media offering that align fuse8’s core competencies and skills with market requirements
- Be adept at the development of solid ‘no brainer’ business cases for prospects and existing clients around social media
- Liaise with key departments in the delivery of social media campaigns
- Liaise with the company’s strategic board to identify strategies for developing our social media offering and selling this to our clients
- Set up and manage social media tools as appropriate
- Provision of social media plans, including writing editorial, posting and seeding content as required
- Monitor and generate reports ensuring and optimising success as appropriate
- Provide accurate market intelligence, trends and insights to our clients during and at the end of a campaign as appropriate
- Liaise with the company’s strategic board to identify strategies for developing our social media offering and selling this to our clients
- Be an advocate for social media within fuse8 sharing insights and best practice as well as educating the team around its potential e.g. internal working sessions
- Offer up accurate ongoing competitor analysis and feed into the company’s social media proposition
- Define the social media strategy for fuse8 to use a vehicle to promote the company and build the brand socially
- Offer up accurate market intelligence and feed into ongoing shaping and development of the company’s sales and marketing proposition
KPIs and objectives:
- Development and success of social media campaigns against agreed campaign objectives
- Fulfilment of reporting
- Development of the social media offering within fuse8
- Promotion of the fuse8 brand within social spaces
- Development of fuse8 staff knowledge and understanding of social media
