Enthusiastic SEO/PPC Consultant required to expand our SEO Leeds team.
The SEO/PPC Consultant role is to provide our clients with innovation and quality in search marketing. This is done by delivering and implementing best-in-class search strategies to meet our clients’ business objectives, by integrating paid and natural search, by leveraging their synergy and by creating internal efficiencies.
The SEO/PPC Consultant is responsible for developing and delivering Natural Search strategies for a range of clients across a variety of sectors. This role allows for the combination of technical expertise (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), a thorough understanding of search engine algorithms and developments in the search engine marketplace.
The SEO/PPC Consultant will work with our clients, our projects managers and our technical team .
The role is:
- To deliver superb results for clients through a combination of best in class SEO strategy and innovation that fits with clients’ objectives
- To communicate all aspects of the SEO and PPC strategy, results and campaign optimisation to clients
- To support new business team, providing background and ideas for new business pitches
- The SEO/PPC Consultant will devise SEO campaigns working closely with our Search Strategist
- The SEO/PPC Consultant will manage the SEO and PPC campaigns for each of their clients
Key responsibilities:
- Auditing sites of potential clients for new business pitches
- Building strategy proposals in response to client briefs
- Making presentations to potential and existing client
- Providing a recommendation and detailed analysis of targeted keywords
- Providing SEO recommendations for page coding, site architecture, linking and content structure, micro formats and link building
- Reporting on the agreed KPIs for client’s sites
- Analysis of latest changes in search engine algorithms and industry developments, communicating these within the search team and to client
- Maximising client potential with other elements of search such as Paid Search, Social media or affiliates
- Explaining technical ideas to clients and those with non-technical roles
- Providing consultancy and technical support for all phases of optimisation projects
- Managing the preparation and communication of campaign reports to clients
- Helping to write new business proposals for new and existing clients
- Optimising content for natural search
- PPC management (setup & manage PPC campaigns, analyse & optimise campaigns, use and understand all tools available, manage and take responsibility of campaign results and client management, provide and be able to make presentations on campaign performance)
Additional, but not mandatory skills & qualifications:
An advanced level of proficiency with any of these products is most welcome.

- W3C standards and Web accessibility knowledge
The role reports to a Search Strategist and consists of providing first class SEO and PPC consultancy, both in a written and face to face form, to a range of prestigious clients. You will be responsible for the full range of SEO and PPC consultancy activities.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a level of experience between 2 - 3 years.
Our ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, with a sound understanding of natural search, experience of delivering high level SEO and PPC consultancy and a desire to learn and obtain new skills and knowledge. You should be a confident and effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
