Senior Project Manager - Online Delivery Team

Typical client accounts are within the property, financial and retail sector, although allocation of clients will depend on the skill set and experience of new recruits.

Project Delivery Competencies
Project Management
- Manages the day-to-day operational and delivery aspects of multiple or large scale projects within the delivery team
- Oversees project managers working on client engagements within the delivery team
- Reviews high-level deliverables across the delivery team
- Works closely with customers to understand and clarify requirements
- Produces project documentation in accordance with our methodology, including:
- Project Definition - Business Audit, CRM Assessment, User Requirements & Functional Requirements
- Scope and Schedule - forming the basis of the Project Plan
- Testing Plan
- Client Contact & Project Progress Reports
- Sign-Off Documentation
- Post Project Review and Support Plan
- Implements review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology - for example, QA Checklists and project Health Checks
- Manages scope, schedule and budget, and mitigates risk across multiple projects.
- Minimizes exposure and risk across all projects within the delivery team.
Project Accounting
- Ensures delivery team meets or exceeds financial objectives, including revenue and margin.
- Analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects.
- Helps create pipeline forecasts and a broad-based financial picture for the delivery team.
- Works with senior management to review and compare financial data against that of other service offerings and seeks ways to maximize revenue.
- Addresses elevated billing issues when they arise.
Financial Management
- Manages and achieves revenue goals set for projects within the delivery team
- Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects within the delivery team.
- Sets expectations upward regarding revenue and profitability projections
Business Development
- Takes a lead role in identifying and developing strategic accounts across the delivery team.
- Identifies and capitalises "add-on" sales opportunities across the delivery team.
- Works in conjunction with the sales team to follow up sales leads.
- Grows long-term relationships with clients that capitalise on revenue opportunities.
Communication
- Effectively communicates relevant project/delivery information to superiors and peers.
- Ensures delivery team is well informed, at all times, of changes and newsworthy events
- Conducts and serves as a key participant in team and client meetings.
- Confronts issues openly and quickly.
- Tactfully communicates sensitive information.
- Handles difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.
Technical Understanding
