Project Manager Leeds

fuse8 are looking for people who have not just worked in digital agencies, but for those with hands-on website build experience (front or back end) who are good project managers too.
Project Delivery Competencies
Project Management
- Manages the day-to-day delivery of multiple or large scale projects
- Has experience in waterfall and/or agile methods but has flexibility to work around the needs of the project
- Works with the account management team to understand and clarify requirements
- Produces project documentation for both the account management team and technical team in accordance with our methodologies, including:
- Project Definition
- Scope and Schedule – forming the basis of the Project Plan
- Testing Plan
- Project status reports
- Sign-Off Documentation
- Post Project Review and Support Plan
- Implements review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology – for example, QA Checklists and project Health Checks
- Manages scope, schedule and budget, and mitigates risk across multiple projects.
- Ensures account management team provides all project assets in accordance with plan provides these to the delivery team
Business Development
- Takes a role in identifying and developing strategic accounts, e.g. “add-on” sales opportunities via the account management team
- Works in conjunction with the sales team to follow up sales leads.
Communication
- Effectively communicates relevant project/delivery information to superiors and peers.
- Ensures the client services is well informed, at all times, of changes and newsworthy events
- Conducts and serves as a key participant in team meetings.
- Confronts issues openly and quickly.
- Tactfully communicates sensitive information.
Technical Understanding
- Although not essential, hands on experience in the delivery of digital solutions, e.g. a former developer, web designer or front end developer.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of our service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
- Understands the implications of different technical choices and is able to guide the account management team to the best solution for their situation.
