Middleweight IA/UX Designer

fuse8 is looking for a middleweight IA / interaction designer / UX designer / experience architect to join our Leeds team

OK, we appreciate that this area is still forming itself in the interactive space – and while we're not 100% sure what you want to be called (and also we aren’t that bothered in labels here) we know what
we need you to do.

Put simply (as simply as we can) you are the bridge between creative, technical, search and client
service teams in the crafting of engaging, usable and rewarding interactive experiences that fulfil both
business and user need.

Phew!

As a ‘middleweight’ you will have delved into the world of IA and UX, perhaps coming from a
designer role, perhaps from a technical background – but you will have always held dear the thought
that making things engaging is the key to making them truly usable.

What we would like to see from you

We know interactive developments are a process delivered via a team. Yes, we want to see the final,
delivered product but we also need to see your ‘workings out’ so schematics, wireframes or interactive
prototypes you’ve created that shaped the final solution are a must. We think this is proof of a good
working brain and not just layout skills with boxes and arrows. It’s always satisfying and reassuring to
see that method and intelligence made a great experience and a successful product.
