Challenge
Miele approached fuse8 to create a Miele Website that would inspire visitors to invest emotionally into the Miele brand.
Our challenge was to create a flash microsite that could be content managed, fully degradable for users without flash & optimised for google.
Solutions
Using unique urls within the flash itself meant that individual flash pages could be bookmarked and the back & forward browser controls used. Creating a unique flash experience based on technology audiences are familiar with.
Flash sites rely on the most up to date technology, we didn’t want to alienate any part of the user group so every opportunity is provided to degrade the site gracefully.
The content is managed via fuse8’s CMS, populating both the flash website & a full HTML replica under the hood.
The MyPDF section in both HTML & flash versions lets users add pages of interest and creates a customised PDF on the fly for them to take away.
Results
We created the ‘Miele Inspiration Suite’, where beautiful photography, simple interface & full screen flash allow the Miele products to speak for themselves. Fuse8’s approach to agile technology means the site can be found & enjoyed by all.
