Challenge

The solution required enabled the acquisition of quality suppliers through a number of processes. This required lengthy scoring process, auctions, credit scoring, DPA module, and finally management of the approved Supplier, oh all in four languages.

Solution

A bespoke .NET supplier management solution fronted by Xplode 360 CMS enabled the management of all suppliers from four countries in one administration area. The key modules were manageable by administration staff and a full reporting suite was incorporated. The four language sites allow suppliers from the UK, Belgium, Holland, France and Poland.

Results

Supplier management solution has been live since 2005 but has continual development to ensure it fulfills the business requirements. The volume of suppliers cannot be divulged but it is an effective tool that ensures it operates with the minimum of effort across a large business located on many sites.
