Our online concept director, Grzegorz Kozakiewicz, is set to speak at the globally renowned
FITC (Flash in the Can) digital media conference being held in Amsterdam from February 21-23.
This prestigious event – billed as ‘Design. Technology. Cool Shit. – will feature some of the coolest boundary-pushing, experimental work out there and will expose delegates to new ways of thinking about digital projects. It aims to leave attendees ready to come home ready to push their own organisation’s boundaries and those of their clients.
Featuring industry leaders and showcasing the latest techniques in Flash, motion design, FLEX, AIR and mobile, the 500 delegates are the world’s digital wünderkind.
Our head of innovation, Kev Charlton, and client services director, Andy Hutchinson are also attending the event in order to promote our services and showcase our innovative and highly advanced digital capabilities.
Grzegorz has been chosen to speak as an expert in the integration of traditional art processes, such as mixed media and stop-motion, into modern flash development. He will also showcase his award-winning mixed media game called Pencil Rebel
www.pencilrebel.com.
It was shortlisted in last year’s Grand Master Flash category at E4.com’s Golden Joystick Awards and was recognised at a variety of other international industry awards including winning the Uber Flash Award 2009 sponsored by leading Dutch agency Achtung! and the FWA.
Speaking about his forthcoming trip to FITC Amsterdam, Grzegorz said: “FITC holds awesome events. I attended the Toronto conference last year and it was so cool to be networking and sharing ideas with the world’s leading digital creatives and I believe the event in Amsterdam will be the same. It’s a whirlwind of engaging presentations, furious networking and infamous parties. I’m looking forward to bringing back some great ideas and insights that we can apply to our clients’ digital marketing at fuse8”
FITC Amsterdam attendees will come from organisations across the world ranging from small businesses, Fortune 1000 companies and large government agencies.
We’ll be sending out live updates from the event on the likes of Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, so keep your eyes peeled!
