fuse8 whips the competition at Cream Awards

The fuse8 team is feeling like the cat that got the cream after earning two gongs at the Cream Awards – a regional event celebrating creative excellence across Yorkshire.

fuse8 was nominated in four categories and designers Matt McMillan and James Foster walked away with a silver and a bronze award for their work.

Senior designer Matt picked up the top award in the corporate identity category for his timeless concept for RiversideOne - a groundbreaking residential development in Middlesbrough from sustainable developers, BioRegional Quintain.

The other award went to designer James in the corporate advertising category, for his campaign for independent private equity house, Endless LLP, based around the strapline ‘the possibilities are Endless’

Creative director Mark Huddleston said: “Matt and James’ work for Endless and BioRegional Quintain was outstanding and it’s fantastic to see it recognised in this way.

“They both won at the Chip Shop Awards earlier this year so we’re all really proud of their latest success. These awards are further testimony to fuse8’s creative talent and our growing reputation in the industry.”

Held at The Oracle in Leeds and attended by over 100 of the region’s finest creatives, the Cream Awards Yorkshire celebrate the region’s exceptional creative community. Last night’s ceremony followed a five year hiatus for the awards and, following the undoubted success of the event, looks set to come back bigger and better in 2009.
