Companies create products, but we create brands.
We might like our iPods, Dysons and Paul Smith suits, but it’s the brands that stand out, not necessarily the products. The brand speaks to us, the brand makes us feel closer to the company, and the brand makes us invest emotionally in whatever that company or service produces.
For a company, that sense of identity is equally, if not more important. At fuse8, we know what brands stand for, what they mean to others and how these things reflect back on the individual.
Everyone has a sense of identity. It defines what we like and dislike, how we dress, what we believe in, what we'll stand up for and go to the wall to protect. In essence, it allows us to say to the rest of the world: this is me.
